Sun River Memorial Day Program - St. George, UT

About the Mission:
The Sun River community in St. George is once again hosting the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Veteran's Honor Park.
This event honors fallen military service members from the community and elsewhere.
Thank you, to all those that have served and are currently serving.

Primary Staging Details:
May 25, 2026 -- 7:30 AM at
Corner of Wide River Driver and Big River Drive
1766 Wide River Drive
St. George, Utah

Instructions:
KSU: 8:00 AM
This will be a HOTH format.
The service Will be held at the Veteran's Honor Park, located at 1766 Wide River Dr., St. George, at 8:00 AM on Monday, May 25, 2026.
At the beginning of the service, those on bikes will ride down the middle of the park, staging on both sides of the pavilion during the program.

The walkway is narrow with room only for bikes.
Trikes will have a challenge navigating a turn in the park and can stage on the sides during the event.
Cages will need to park in the parking lot and walk into the park.
Weather: Sunny, with a temp of 70 at 8:00 AM.

Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.

Altamont Flagpole Dedication- Roosevelt, UT

About the Mission:
The Altamont Flagpole is a community-driven project in Altamont, Utah.
It stands 150 feet tall and is built to fly the largest American flag in the Uinta Basin.
The flagpole is located on the site where the old A-Tank once sat.
It was built by the community to honor Veterans, patriotism, and the local heritage and commitment to our heroes and our country.
Thank you, to the community, the Veterans and other heroes, for your service and dedication to those that serve(d).

May 25, 2026 -- 9:30 AM at
Chevron
500 East 200 North
Roosevelt, Utah

This will be a HOTH format.
The Flagpole dedication will be held at 4000 North, 100 East, in Altamont at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 25, 2026.
We will stand a flag line during the dedication ceremony while the names will be read of each of the area's veterans that have passed.

Weather:
Mostly sunny with a 20% chance of rain and a high of 75.
Please dress accordingly, and keep yourself hydrated.

Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
Large Bike Flags will not be needed.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.
